On Friday Sept 30th my brother Hermann and his wife Sabine read some passages from their new thriller “Emmys Angst”.

It feels so good to do what you like. Last sunday Stefanie & Lars came to shoot their e-session. Their wedding will be in September. I have never worked with a more relaxed and happy couple. They brought the nicest weather with them and were so sweet together.
Pre-birthday surprise
This is not yet my birthday (it is on Tuesday 14th), but I’ve just received a voucher from a German fashion company. The reason why I m blogging this is that they used one of MY stock photos here. This is the most individual birthday gift I have ever received from a big company :-))))

Baby steps with stock footage
Hi, long time no news. I am currently trying my hands on stock footage clips with my 5D Mark II.

I always loved this quote, but well… no rule without an excemption, right? I am so proud to announce that I am an official member of the “Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association [AG]WPJA“.
“The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association [AG]WPJA is a group of international wedding photojournalists, who capture unscripted wedding moments as they happen, and excel in the art of post-production image processing. The [AG]WPJA is a division within the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA); one which specifically promotes Fine Art Wedding Photojournalism.”
I am very excited about this honour. Wedding photojournalism is so very different from stock. Do not get me wrong; I love being a stock shooter, but weddings are so different. People trust you to capture the emotions and details on this very special day. They share emotional and private moments with you. And I have no words to describe the feeling when the couple comes to my house to see the album I have designed for them.
